We had our carpets cleaned yesterday. The company our leasing office uses had to keep the door open during the process (for the hoses). As a result, a fly got into our apartment. Nothing more than a annoyance to most. However, Moby happen to be terrified of flies. He always has been.
Whenever he gets scared he hides. So there he is, under the couch, ignoring my calls, ignoring his treats. I doubt he’ll come out of there until Liscel gets home. Poor guy.

I tried out another new feature in the iPhone 2.0 firmware this evening.
While there are loads of peeps handing out iPhone wallpapers (this one’s from airbag), using them required a download to your Mac/PC and a sync with itunes to get the files on to your phone.
Now that you can save images from webpages, all you have to do is save the file, go to your photos, choose a photo for your bg and biggity bam Bob’s your uncle.

So far so good with the WP iPhone app. I have a feeling I’ll be posting more often now. Of course, not because I’m a bit more interesting today than yesterday, but rather, because it’s that much easier.
It makes any blog a microblog.
So, not because it’s interesting, but just because I can … and even though I think Maggie Mason is probably right.
Here’s a picture of what we’re having for dinner.

I downloaded the WP iPhone app this morning. I’ve this blog and two that I support at work. This is my first experience, but so far it’s been a very intuitive experience.
UPDATE:
Edited via web to get text to wrap around the screenshot. As a tip, add photos first if you’re using the app because it makes wrapping far easier.

I’ve been watching Radiohead: From the Basement pretty regularly since I DVR’d it a few weeks ago. I was pleasantly alerted this afternoon that the show has been released on iTunes as a series of videos.
If you’re going to pick just one up, I suggest Reckoner. It has that grandiose sound and feel about it that I love about Radiohead.
Though I do confess, I feel like a bit of a rubber for paying for something that I already have a copy of (albeit on my leased DVR.)

Liscel and I came down to Bloomington for no particular reason this morning. As it turns out, there’s a bit of a festival/fair thing going on. What luck.

I love the Sunday morning shows. I watch Meet the Press and This Week just about every week. I’ll even turn on Fox because their show comes on an hour earlier than the rest. I’m watching MSNBC coverage right now and people can’t say enough fantastic things about Tim Russert.Actually, he was in town last month for the primary. He filmed MTP here and spent the hour interviewing Senator Obama. After the show he gave an interview to the local NBC station and I remember being surprised with how happy he seemed to be here, in Indianapolis, covering what could be the election of our generation.I really loved watching him on his show and from what I can tell was a fantastic guy.

Off today because my Gran died yesterday. She’s been sick and it wasn’t a huge surprise but my mom is understandably taking it pretty rough. Liscel and I are headed back to Logansport this afternoon.

Went out this morning to get Wii Fit. My Wii lost a lot of respect for me when it evaluated my body. My WiiFit age is 44. On the plus side, I apparently have a perfectly centered center of balance. Whatever that means. The exercises look fun.

Caught the last 50 minutes or so of “An American Crime.” Horribly sad story. Catherine Keener is fantastic as Gertrude Baniszewski. Story takes place in Indianapolis.
Bored? Kick the tires on brandtags.
The basic idea of this site is that a brand exists entirely in people’s heads. Therefore, whatever it is they say a brand is, is what it is.
Speaking anecdotally (Toyota, American Apparel, LinkedIn), “boring” showed up more than I thought it would. I wonder if that relates more to the logos being displayed than the actual perception of the brand [brandtags via swissmiss].

Just back from the GOTV rally on the American Legion Mall. Went Brightkite crazy.
I’ve never voted in a meaningful primary. I’ve also cast a vote in an election that wasn’t pretty much a foregone conclusion.
I’m excited about tomorrow.
